Because they know that having decimated the NHS, the service and the hospitals would be overwhelmed by mass disease. Then there might be riots. At my local DGH, there have already been 95 deaths linked to the disease. A temporary ward specifically designed to accommodate patients with the disease, was constructed at a cost of £4m. 'There have been a further 35 deaths related to Covid-19 recorded across Surrey, according to NHS England data released today (January 24). In the past 24 hours, 497 new positive tests have been recorded across the region - down from 561 yesterday.
