Our Rishi made another announcement today. 'Launched by Rishi Sunak in July 2020 The Kickstart scheme is a £2bn fund launched by the government to pay for six-month work placements for 16 to 24-year-olds.'
Who checks where the funds are going? Provenance of the prospective employer?
'Kickstart Scheme wages and related costs for employers
Kickstart Scheme wages and costs are paid to you, but you will pass this on to the employer. This funding covers: 100% of the National Minimum Wage (or the National Living Wage depending on the age of the participant) for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months.'
