Re: ]Assange vs the violence of imperial ‘humanitarianism’ Archived Message Posted by Gerard on January 26, 2021, 11:33 am, in reply to "]Assange vs the violence of imperial ‘humanitarianism’" The Assange case is a microcosm of the macrocosm..this Orwellian stuff is de rigueur and one has come to expect same but even so Judge Vanessa Baraitser's ruling was a disappointment for it signals the complete corruption of judicial process in this country..the undertones of eugenic-ism are unmistakable and Assange becomes a Winston Smith who, driven mad by big brother, must, as a now "sane" citizen, thank him for his mercy..the whole thing stinks, it's sinister stuff and saddening to see being played out (to such a well known script), in front of one's eyes..
