... in Grover Furr's book "Blood Lies". And as he disassembles Snyder's work, simply by checking his referencing, he cripples the thrust of the histories of Conquest and Medvedev. The very premise of Snyder's book "Bloodlands", effectively that any defense by the USSR against the German invasion made them equally culpable of the slaughter the Nazis set in motion, is the product of a really dim man. The reliance on Ukraine and Polish re-foundation myths-as-history (eg the holodomor), the products of post-war fascists brought to North America by the OSS and US military, is a bit laughable. |
