Oh dear.
We have similar types, believe it or not, on the South African media airwaves.
But South Africans have seen this movie before (captured media, clueless journalists and embedded 'journalists') during the apartheid era, and are quicker (perhaps) to call out each other's hypocrisies, double standards and slipping petticoats.
Clueless journalists are possibly most annoying, simply because of thei moronic statements.
The clued-up 'journalists' are referred to as "askaris" in these parts: native guardians of power
