"Which makes me think just how readily Sturgeon has embraced the whole sordid Nato line - ably amplified by her Nato-loving 'Shadow Defence Minister' Stewart McDonald."
Yes... that particular change to long standing SNP policy was in hindsight a harbinger of things to come, though how far they had travelled in the opposite direction was only clear to me when Sturgeon made that admiring tweet about marvellous Mr Kissinger, which left me thinking that in Stugeons case there were only three options: she's an idiot, she's a right wing neocon or she's both.
Course there's no shortage of skull vacuity available to fill all around her either... Wings highlighted Liz lloyd and Jenny Gilruth alongside Tory and Labour peers (and interestingly for the Salmond case...a journalist who was illegally leaked a particular story.) but one wonders just how many other gratis £9000 holiday junkets/bribes have been handed out to the SNP's ahemm...other "opinion leaders" by the "International Visitor Leadership Program" and other such US propaganda outfits?
Stewart McDonald strikes me as a naieve dangerous idiot as likewise his sidekick "SNP Foreign Affairs Spokesperson" Alyn Smith: the SNP's very own Cheech and Chong of Russophobia, therefore its no surprise to see they have been on the US junket gravy train as well:
-Alongside all that imported Idpol and #Me-Too Democratic Party dross, one wonders at how far they intend to go to make Independence seem pointless because all that is on offer is essentially Westminster and US policy dreck in a tartan frock?
