I couldn't understand why Mark did not mention US is still afloat due to $ hegemony i.e. it is free-loading against the rest of the world. I thought the lady sort of touched on the subject by saying 'globalisation' right at the end. I wasn't aware that Biden admin is turning inwards by concentrating on infrastructure. In general terms, it sounds like 'New-Deal' ish - likely just sloganeering and making it sound as though the unstoppable gravy train for 0.001% is about to stop, ahem. Whatever happens, there is still the war industry to fall back on.
