I think it would be tricky to separate the vulnerable from the non-vulnerable in any meaningful way. For instance, a single mother on welfare is more economically vulnerable than a disabled person with a decent job. I definitely agree that "it is beholden upon the able-bodied to protect the rights of those for whom the full-expression of democratic freedoms is no longer viable" but am not sure anonymity in protests is a way to address that. I'm with Hedges on this one, and generally think it's a bad idea, making movements too prone to state infiltration. Of course during Covid it's all moot since masks have a different function.
