Lots of fear-inducing images beaming worldwide off BBC and other media outlets. Bodies burning in open cremation sites dominate social media today, but don't public cremations occur there at any time - a key cultural difference to the west? Someone pointed out to me that India's population (1.4-billion?) is 20 times bigger than most average European countries (and South Africa) - and that 10-million Indians die in any given year - so that one needs to keep figures in proportion when analysing media hype?
