Terrible shame: it would of course be much better if, instead of chasing the same little ####wit polity as understudy Tories, Labour instead set out with a vision to refranchise the polity then find out what it actually wanted. Ken -- isn't this precisely what Corbyn was offering but the establishment (including the right-wing Labour politicians -- NOT the membership) shit itself at the prospect of genuine socialist policies (or something in that direction) and made damn sure he never got anywhere near power. So what of Starmer and his famous "listening" mode -- if folk say they want to nationalise the railways and tax big business will he adopt these policies? Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha .... |
