I couldn't bring myself to watch the actual interview he did, so I don't know if he made any genuinely trenchant criticisms of Israel of the kind that Corbyn & others got hounded for (despite being correct). I thought it noteworthy that he was now able to spot it when somebody was making a disingenuous accusation of a/s, whereas before all he cared about was catering to the hurt feelings of Jewish people - and insisting others do too including the whole Labour party apparatus. This despite the clear possibility that they were only claiming to be hurt in order to achieve political ends, and the fact of the matter being that even if it was genuine it was based on incorrect assumptions & lies (which Jones routinely endorsed and/or failed to challenge).
