I don't know about long term, but short term for the AstraZeneca vaccine is a 1 in 77000 chance of a serious blood clot, which killed 50% of people at first but down to 19% now they've realised what's going on - figures from this BBC article whicg has taken them from PHE: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-57260463 If you're not in the older age categories or have underlying health conditions, then that's a higher risk than dying from covid statistically speaking, which is asking people to take that risk for the greater good.
