Yes, they're not mincing their words! Agreed on net zero, would hope they give that a good dressing down as it deserves. Not optimistic on how the collapse is going to be managed at this point. Just read this Gail Tverberg article which suggests that part of the reason govts went in for extended lockdowns in response to covid (or at least why they weren't so opposed as I for one expected) was to limit use of oil in transport so dwindling supplies could be given over to the industrial/manufacturing sector: https://ourfiniteworld.com/2021/05/27/dont-expect-the-world-economy-to-resume-its-prior-growth-pattern-after-covid-19/ Could use some evidence to back it up, but seems plausible. It'll get interesting when they start to manage the food & water supplies...
