I'm glad you appreciated me putting a bit of humour in the post Now the over 80s have been piled high I wonder what the recent median age for dying is, I suspect a lot lower? Who is advocating "forever" I'm certainly not. For me slightly worse than flu was as it is a killer for me and the thousands, maybe millions who are on immunity suppressants that includes those having cancer treatment. When a flu virus starts a run I apply the same constraints to myself as now. People with colds/flu should not go to work IMO a they just affect some of the workforce but they feel they are so important they must go in. They are just a cog in the wheel. A work colleague from many years ago caught flu on the 2nd day he had to to to work in his head, next morning woke up paralysed and never recovered.
