"Well Ken, I've often thought you don't indulge in nuance much either..." - You're confusing my directness with lack of nuance. That lack I'm referring to is holding an ideological standpoint which requires ignoring at worse or cherry picking at best the actual evidence. "Personally, I appreciated both margo and Willem for saying something on that. The skew from concern for people of poorer places to what we ended up with probably largely to blame for personal concern about health and the acknowledgement covid was killing the middle aged to old in this place instead of somewhere else." That's pretty rambling... so I'm not quite sure what its meant to mean, but has it passed you by that that the poor are essentially the category most at risk from covid and that the devil take the hindmost philosophy on the virus merely represents out of the frying pan into the fire? And on appreciating Willem for the reason you give, I've never been convinced in the slightest by anything he has written that he either belongs to the poorer sector of society or indeed has any sympathy for that sector whatsoever.
