Pretty good eh? It might even have been the first time Starmer came in the firing line over Assange:
February 13, 2018:
"Just in case anyone wants to convince themselves its Arbuthnot of Edrom's Tory stitch up and that Labour ain't part of the establishments heinous Assange witch hunt: remember that Labour MP Keir Starmer was head of the CPS at the time when they stiffed Assange.
-Got himself a nice wee knighthood out of it too I see."
"....It's all true. Unless of course you are you claiming that a CPS case with a multimillion pound-money-no-object-oh-and-not-just-and ordinary extradition case didn't get authorised by the boss who was Kier Starmer? Are you serious?
...your Labour party (now shadow cabinet) man was a key player who clearly facilitated this political interference to nail Assange.
......he wasn't acting in a "professional" capacity at all if he was acting politically, which we can see from Jonathan Cook's piece was the case.
I said that Labour were part of the establishments heinous Assange witch hunt because a contemporary Labour shadow cabinet member was actually at the centre of it. What exact role he played we might never know because umm... the CPS inexplicably destroyed correspondence on the case shortly after the now enobled Labour flunky Sir Kier Starmer, Knight-Commander-of-the-Order-of-the Bath left for a knighthood and a free passage to the Labour party front bench.
- How convenient."
Oh and follow on from here where our old friend CJ accuses me of libelling poor Kier and proposes I retract:
