I'd say they're generally pretty eager to waffle on about the problems of 'radical islam' - just in this case the advantages of closing down criticism on the internet are too tempting to not focus on. Don't worry, next brown skinned unstable nutter/murderer they'll switch back to blaming islam and encouraging us all to look down or sideways instead of upwards, as usual. If you want to talk about avoiding real problems, try and spot any reporting of the far right bloke who got 11 years yesterday anywhere on the telly news - you'd think it might also be relevant to 'internet civility', but no. |
