| Radical violent Islam has been responsible for the deaths of quite a few Brits in recent years at both home and abroad and a lot more deaths across Europe. David Amess sadly won't be the last to die at the hands of an Islamist warrior. And yet, in spite of all those deaths - which include young girls at a pop concert - the REAL problem is the far right. Interestingly, when fascists ARE responsible for killings, we are encouraged to get angry, rout out these vile hateful ideologies, banish toxic masculinity etc. Islamist killings, however, produce a somewhat different response - don't get angry, don't ask about hateful ideologies, perpetrators are confused, sing Kumbaya. |
