A master diplomat, although a little controversial with his role in the Vietnam War, a man who always believed he was doing the right thing for his fellow Americans and was brave and unapologetic. We should mourn the passing of such a great man and not get drawn down in the gutter by petty arguments about the loss of life he inflicted and conspiracy theories.
