... they have negligible control ... I was in the Sindh province in 2000 odd, on a project (in the bush, or rather a desert spot). The border is as porous as a sieve. I spotted several arms clad guys on a daily basis on a walkabout : ) etc. I agree that the sane outcome would be to keep the CIA snouts out. Give them some tidbits to spin or somefing  via ISI.
