Dunno, even that would just enable it to go ahead, just in a slightly more regulated, slightly less destructive way. Well, she did say it was her gut feeling that it will go ahead anyway. It's not so much regulated or less destructive. Let's face it it is likely to be a mess. Than she has the stick to beat them with and stop any further deep sea mining. The other option being it goes ahead on multiple fronts without anyone being able to record it from the scientific community or having a say - they shan't have the data until it's too late. Take your pick. |
