Admittedly getting a fine reduced from £100 to £50 is a fairly minor twisting of the law, even if it was by begging poverty while clearly being massively wealthy and privelleged. It's just odd how these "mistakes" always work in one direction only. I've been fined for possession (and other things back in my wild decades ), but I doubt I would have been able to get any of those fines cut in half by pleading poverty. It's minor but symptomatic of the two tiered justice system, not to mention ####ing annoying.
