When I first saw the Shaun video I knew Seder would be furiously wanking himself mental over it so his video interupting a video of other people's work to say what the video itself says but just in a more annoying tone was no surprise. Jimmy's video is a very partial apology and most of it seems to be a deflection exercise and I agree that the "They never apologise for Russiagate, blah blah blah" bit was classic Jimmy but not very convincing. Even the part where he actually addressed "the producer's" errors didn't seem to really come to terms with what a dishonest impression that segment gave but rather it "changed the meaning" of the paragraph. I don't think anything is going to convince the two camps of the other's arguments, judging by the comments below the Seder and Dore videos though. It follows Taibbi's Hate Inc model pretty well. I expect Vaush and TYT to jump on the train again soon. One thing I don't really agree with on Shaun's video is the merch thing. I didn't even know Jimmy sold merch, even though if I'd thought about it for a second I would have assumed he did. The thing is I've never heard him push them on any of his vids ever (I have adblockers all over the place so maybe don't see them). It's a fine distinction between flogging merch and pitching for clicks but even so......
