The Russians are demonstrating they have capability ready to take on the US, who have already themselves declared the beginning of "Space Wars" ( AKA the newly formed US "Space Force"), in orbit by removing satellites. They most certainly had calculated that the resulting crap would not be in the Space Station Orbit as they have people up there too. So... it probably wasn't, but who knows? blowing shit up in orbit is somewhat unpredictable. |
