It is mind boggling to think of the costs. Beyond the grief and psychological damage, just the sheer dollars required to repair infrastructure and repair/replace houses, buildings, transportation modes, etc. Vancouver is the third largest city in Canada, a major port, and currently all land routes connecting it to the rest of Canada are majorly disrupted. Shit’s getting real. |
