I heard a bloke on novara (head of 'war on want') talking about how the emphasis on coal and the naughty china/india for not reducing it hid some scheming of western countries - something like India said it would say more about coal if oil and gas (more used by global north countries) were also in the agreement - but America and Europe refused.
