There is no way for those without guns to counter the threat, because, as this case shows, if they try to disarm the gunman they will be shot and the gunman will claim self defense. So the only way to counter a gun threat is to have a gun. This is why the US is turning into a giant gun fight at ok corral. Kyle is an immature twit who has helped to make sure that all sides will be armed in future demonstrations.
