I read the whole thing and I wanted to like the author and enjoy the book, but it's poorly written, and a massive disappointment. But of course don't let that put you off; I could be wrong. I intemperately denounced Four Weddings and a Funeral for decades, then I saw it on television last week and it wasn't as bad as I imagined it.
