Worth keeping in mind that there could be some manipulation going on. Was it the Milgram experiments where peoples' opinions & even direct observations were shown to be malleable by planted actors confidently asserting something different? Suppose it wouldn't take many interventions to skew the tone of comments over time with well-placed interventions on key topics like this one. Also the framing of articles & choice of subject matter all adds to the overall effect of grooming corporate capitalism's compliant footsoldiers...
