(I probably recommended these very books before (bloody memory), but) Acid Dreams is one of my faves on the subject (more focused on lsd than the rest of mkultra, as the title suggests). 'Brotherhood of eternal love' is a good read too though more of a yarn, and more just about the drugs (great story though).
