I've got some lighter fluid and rags they can borrow. While I agree with him about Boebert, redneck Dr Strangelove and Marjorie Trailer Queen being nowhere near fit for public office (even with the incredibly low bar that the senate presents) and some of them possibly borderline mentally ill, the whole article seems like a "GOP bad, Dems lesser evil" bout of pearl clutching aimed at the midterms (where it seems everyone is predicting massive GOP gains). All the rabble rousers like Greene and Boebert are just disposable non-entities to the GOP. Fine while they are out there stirring up the idiots to vote Republican but as soon as they go too far and become toxic they'll be cut off and disappear. Of course, and I think the article is correct in this, the problem is quite how much trouble they can stir up given the definition of "going too far" is moving in the wrong direction all the time. I can see the 2024 general being the trigger for wide spread disorder in the states. As long as I can remember people have been predicting the US "going up" but to be fair it has never been closer to doing just that but just looking at Republican outrage jockeys as the cause of it seems short sighted.
