"As well as being a lunatic supporter of nuclear power..." -As I said here a number of years ago: "...Ah but not just any old nuclear power...it was a the flashing white thighs of "integral fast reactors" and "liquid fluoride thorium reactors." that had him going. Then first was tried in the UK already and could not be made to work, but THORP: made to reprocess the waste non-the-less now does nothing but cost us 30 - 40 million a year until its ready for demolition in 2095 at the cost of at least £4 billion. The latter? well, they have never been built commercially and even if they were certainly are unlikely to be built on time to avoid any projected power shortages. ...but he's in love with techno-promise is Tory-boy George...reading his "Meccano weekly " under the army blankets at boarding school whist hiding from the bullies made it clear that all things were... possible. Nurse!... nurse!" https://members5.boardhost.com/xxxxx/msg/archive/1607028021.html
