(From one of the interactive graphs at the link) nice to see the fraudian's precipitous decline from 2019 (61% trust) to now (48%) although interestingly the Times and the Torygraph have had the steepest declines. It would be nice to think this is people seeing through the Tory lies but I think it may well be the frothing gammons and associated nutters who think they are not far right enough expressing displeasure with them. The Daily Fail had a huge drop between 2019 and 2020 (Brexit?) but seems to have levelled out at 23% trust. Thing is these numbers almost certainly provide a false impression; when people are formally questioned about this kind of thing, they will always say "No, not me guv. I don't believe a word the press say", but in everyday life they will read, absorb and regurgitate the messages thrown at them. I sincerely doubt only 23% of Daily Mail readers trust what they read in it. Very interesting post though; thanks.
