To be fair, according to a quick google, the us army has emitted 1,212 million tonnes since the Afghanistan invasion - while the amount estimated to be emitted by food production overall is 17.3 billion metric tonnes a year and 54% of that estimated to be from meat. If those numbers are correct, galloway is wrong (maybe the numbers aren't a fair comparison).
