"a representative of a supposedly anarchist youtube network "

I agree with a lot of that, but that bit overstates what bread tube is a bit - as afar as I know it's just a term from a reddit page, not a network - some self identify as it, others get called it but reject it - some of the labelled people work together, others don't, usual lefty-JPF/PFJ stuff - no central organisation (but not in an intentional anarchist sense, just not being organised). Valent aside (and they gave no funding apparently), there are no lefty billionaires handing out funding like the right wing equivalents seem to get (certainly not if it risked promoting things like the conquest of bread) - could you even have a left wing billionaire? (I can't think of one). At best there is a small (in comparison) audience that lefty creators can sell to advertisers like curiosity stream etc.

I doubt thorn would accept the label of being a 'breadtuber', let alone being a representative (and the others would probably suggest other people) I don't think I ever saw a video from thorn that claimed to be anarchist, her earlier political vids (which I prefer) tend to be more even handed, source based and educational rather than polemical. Breadtube is a loose term that came about in the initial backlash to all the moronic anti-SJW/anti-feminist/gamergate content, because some of the lefty creators would bang on about Kropotkin etc (cos they inherited their leftiness from Gen Xers like me maybe), but not all of them - it's certainly not an organisation of any sort that motives can be imputed to. This was always the problem with Maupin's ideas (not the only one) - and the GZ article to a degree. (little old me wonders whether GZ could do similar exposes on some of the people funded by the brownstone institute or exposes of the money behind the institute - but GZ have passed on info from them before now: one might concoct some conspiracy around that (I wouldn't, just doing a rhetoric))

As for her deceiving, I don't she was - she probably doesn't agree with your formulation about vaccine safety (asking for years long safety records in a pandemic has never been the policy afaik and seems unrealistic (they don't do it for the yearly flu vaccine)), so at the most it would be unintentional deception (in your opinion). Personally I've gone off thorns later videos that have been become big overproduced pieces, but the odd one is still interesting - her older ones (when Ollie) were interesting edutainment on philosophy and politics, but she was always on the ever so slightly more 'liberal' (read: posh) side of these creators in my view, so less surprising that she'd collaborate with a 'charity' like that on a video about vaccines than the others might - and unsurprising that an organisation like Valent or the RI would look around for a popular YouTube that might already align with their general views on vaccines to use to help them promote stuff - this is very humdrum to me, and doesn't in itself make me distrust thorn (especially as her point of contact was the cozy old Royal Institution that does all those nice Christmas lectures (we can talk about some of the propaganda put out in those lectures another time .
