BBC news was bombarding us yesterday with reports of a Russian missile strike on Odessa, just a day after agreement was reached by Russia and Ukraine, mediated by Turkey and the UN, to allow grain shipments to leave the port. The impression given (and seized upon by Zelensky) was that the attack was an example of Russia wilfully and brutally sabotaging any attempts at humanitarian co-operation, and indeed it would seem a singularly inept action by Russia if it was true. But of course Russia's perspective on the incident was glossed over or omitted from the heavily partisan BBC reports. So I'm trying to get my head round what actually happened..
