What does "very likely" mean in this context? For many parents in the same or similar position to Archie's, it wouldn't be enough to turn off life support. To believe, as the writers of the Open Democracy seem to do, that doctors are always right, always act in the best interests of the patient, are never subject to groupthink and are never jobsworths is really pretty naive. And opposing abortion and believing that mindless adoption of the trans agenda might be harmful to children and young people are not extremist ideologies.
