People should be allowed write and publish what they want without fear. Particularly when it's documented truth as in Julian Assange's case. Rushdie can be a bit of a snidey twat by all accounts but he's written some great novels (I remember reading "Midnight's Children" while stuck in the middle of Sulawesi, staying up all night to finish it and immediately starting it again) and shouldn't have to live in fear of religious head the balls. The Iranian papers probably sound like the Daily Mail after "we" murdered Soleimani but I'm sure that is not a comparison that the M.S.M. would acknowledge.
