| Peter was also a trot when he was young wasn't he? I tend to think of these supposed trot-to-neocon transformations as mostly being people who would probably naturally be right wing, middle class liberals or 'patriots' of some description, but who choose trotskyism when they're young as it lets them hang out with the cool kids/girls (ie commies) but without actually supporting their country's enemy (soviet union). They then 'grow out' of it later, spouting the usual cliche about that. |
