Now, was that article about the non-lab origins of covid 19 subjective or what? That emoji confused me. Now, why do we have the second particle to compare with on a non-related subject? To show us how 'science' works in the subjective/objective sphere? Bit thin .

SBM is entirely owned and operated by the New England Skeptical Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting science and critical thinking. The NESS does not have any corporate or government sponsorship. It is entirely funded by individual donations. The NESS also co-organizes and operates (with the New York City Skeptics) a yearly science conference, the Northeast Conference on Science and Skepticism (NECSS) which prominently features SBM content. Admission prices and honoraria are set so that the conference is generally a break-even event. FWIW.

For me the interesting part about the gender tissue, was this snippet:

    Denying difference out of existence

Some people, however, may accept the specific arguments but reject the conclusion with what I consider to be dubious logic. One approach is to say – what is the practical difference between bimodal and binary? Why should sexuality in any way be defined by the 2% (to use a representative round figure) rather than the 98%? But this misses the actual issue, which is how we think about the 2% – are they part of biological diversity or can we define them out of existence?

The point of promoting the fiction of strictly binary sex is that it eliminates the middle ground.

I know a little about biology, but admittedly not much. Though, if you wish to discuss fish life, I am game .

Just simple maths, if I may: 2% is absolutely crucial politically ... and this may make changes in law? Based on 2% outlier?

I didn't ask how. Perhaps SB can lay out his wares? I can understand simple arguments, I think. ta
