I stopped watching this charade of a programme many moons ago but I turned in when I learnt that Mick Lynch was on. And he was excellent.
He kept his cool and remained calm, even when the rest were flinging jibes at him (the usual predictable ones) about causing delays and disrupting services etc. Wisely he refrained from trading "witty" quips with Hislop and Merton. He was too clever for that. He waited his moment and then just dropped in the occasional comment that was terse and to the point so that even the female comedian panelist was disarmed and amused. I could well imagine others in his position adopting a belligerent tone and betraying their anger, but Mick played it perfectly. A masterclass.
