My posts here have made clear for many years that I looked at what Brexit was offering and it was obvious from the start that it was a project for more of the same neoliberalism and then some...and then some more: an exercise in jumping from the frying pan right into the fire. In the real world for the working classes it simply meant destruction of peoples lives through job losses. Nato in my view ( as again oft expressed here) is a gangster organisation: a proxy army for instituting US foreign policy. As for racism the Brits don't stint on that particular theme. In fact they presently have a clever policy of appointing Asians to do their dirty stuff for them re Priti Patel and Suella Braverman. The formers Nationality and Borders Bill was widely described as openly racist and Braverman was in full agreement in desiring to see planes head off to dump people in Rwanda. It was as I recall her ‘dream’ and ‘obsession’. Both are ardent Brexiters and in fact Braverman is so keen on getting rid of all that troublesome European regulation that she also wants the UK out of the European Convention of Human Rights. Human rights that of course will just hinder those Brexit "freedoms"..."freedoms" that were never about ordinary people but freedom for the UK elite to do what they wanted and rip the rule book up on any international safeguards they had signed up to in the past. My views on these matters would be hard to miss if you had actually read any of my posts. Perhaps you might do so and develop some critique of what I have actually said rather than indulging in some kind of simplistic dualism with a "Remainiac" that exists solely in your imagination?
