Norways's sovereign waalth fund is still there, aliv and kicking. It's grown really big, spcially in recent years. There making a killing selling gas to Poland and the UK. Norway isn't som king of paradise. The number of millionaires and billionaires is huge compared to fifty years ago. Oslo and the other ubran areas AR transformd. Matrial consumption has rocketed upwards. The socio-conomic profile resembles a Gulf State in many respects, only the waalth is more evenly spread around. It has a wll-functioning welfare state. Th central point is, they made a conscious decision not to spend all the oil and gas revenues all at once, but put a lot aside in thir gigantic, state-controlled sovereign alth fund. In the UK half a century of Thatcherit conomic recklessness and mumbo jumbo, crating massiv, structural inequalities has come to a revoluti end. It looks lik two possibl futures, open fascism, or... rvolution.
