Hmm, well, I shouldn't be too cynical about this study, I am reassured there's nothing overtly political here. There's a review of this study here https://www.aidsmap.com/news/nov-2022/study-describes-monkeypox-cases-among-cisgender-and-transgender-women and here also https://www.forbes.com/sites/roberthart/2022/11/17/monkeypox- in-women-frequently-misdiagnosed-as-sexually-transmitted-infections-study-finds/?sh=18f6d4f4774d

Basically, it confirms monkey pox is sexually transmitted(as in gay men) in transexual men who consider themselves female gender - sexual behaviour, anal sex and multiple sexual partners or contacts are common factors. There is a 50% HIV positive rate in these trans-women, but only 8% in cisgender and "binary" women. 58% of transgender women in this study were taking HIV prophylaxis, only 2% of the cisgender were, showing that this group of transgender women were well aware of their risky sexual behaviour. The monkey pox in ciswomen was much more likely to be non-sexually transmitted, so is likely to be misdiagnosed and this could be important as monkey pox in pregnancy is serious for the woman and the foetus or if a child contracts it in the home setting, for instance.

Anyway that's roughly it, there are nuances and figures here that go into great detail if you wish to do so - I haven't gone into this detail myself so I wouldn't like to comment further, and I hope I've correctly understood the gist of this study. I think it merely confirms that many transexual women engage in risky sexual behaviour with multiple partners, unlike so called cis-gender women. So they are more likely to get monkey pox, HIV and any other STD going. I think anyone who has worked in general practice and in sexual health and treated transgender women, would have known this already and would have been able to predict the overall findings of this survey.
