He seems completely unaware of his responsibility in 'betraying' all those idealistic young peopl who flocked to his banner and dreamed of transforming the Labour Party and Britain. They deserved so much more. To piss all that energy, hope and activism away, was unforgivable in my book. If he wasn't prepared to fight for himself, his reputation, at least he could have fought for all those young people who believed in him. He owed them that much. Instead of mobilizing his followers, he demoralized them, demobilized them. He could have done so much more to explain what was happening and why. That they had to defeat the Labour Party machine and most of the MPs, before they had a chance of defeating the Tories and changing the country.
