It's curious that he sticks with GDP and does not mention PPP. In terms of the latter, for example China has already taken over as the largest economy in the world. I guess there must be a reason why he is not doing that. I've come across this factoid before - that Nixon froze the price rises in the US and therefore inflation in the '70s. Will we see this phenomenon repeated in the UK and elsewhere - rhetorical question. He also seems hopeful about the current militancy of the labour movements. Let's see that unfold .. The interviewer seems a bit .. 'wooden' ..
