Statement of the Forum for Peace movement

The Forum for Peace demands the immediate termination of financing of the Kyiv regime and the suspension of diplomatic relations. We consider it unacceptable that Hungary supports the anti-Hungarian Ukrainian regime with money! The Zelenskiys are sending our Transcarpathian youth by the hundreds to die against the Russians, Nazi marchers are terrorizing the residents of our Hungarian cities across the border, setting fires, tearing down our national flag, expelling those who teach in our mother tongue from the school, they want to drag our country into the conflict. Our government not only tolerates their aggressiveness, but even finances it. We will give billions to whoever wants to take revenge on us after Donbass, feeling his loss. The government should not defend itself by saying that our NATO and EU membership obliges it to do so! No one can oblige us to give money against ourselves, for the decimation of the people of Transcarpathia, and let what remains of Trianon go to waste! We preach about Russian aggression, while the Ukrainian leadership targeted us. Who will protect our Transcarpathian compatriots, if not us? Is it NATO or the EU? Take Russia as an example! He stands up not only for himself and his blood from Donbass, but also for others. He wants the nationalities of Ukraine to be able to decide for themselves who they want to live with. A promising future for Transcarpathia! In the meantime, until the hope of self-determination comes true, let's not let Kyiv do to the Transcarpathian Hungarians what it did to the Donbass Russians amid the complicit silence of the West!
