Putin can, must use the Minsk betrayal as a major bargaining weapon/chip/leverage in any peace negot Archived Message

    ..in any (inevitable) peace negotiations.

    Minsk 3 ?

Given that no other, er, "respected news source" or
pro-peace pundit is mentioning or stressing this crucial point, here's some sooth-ing, crystal-ball gazing of my own:

The Minsk deception - a gift-horse bargaining weapon for
    Putin, Lavrov et al.

Certain myopians fail to see that Putin will/would be able to turn and exploit the Minsk betrayal to Russia's potentially huge, decisive advantage.

And at the same time use the issue - the admitted historical fact - to finally wake up the still geopolitically clueless MSM'd masses as to who and what really provoked and precipitated the Russian invasion.

It's worth stressing that US-EU-NATO's Minsk Accord con-artists were able to pull off their play-for-time Minsk deception largely because the media and political establishment - and even most alt-media sources - buried or barely covered what was being quietly cooked up in Ukraine between 2014-2021. Instead(in the US) the media and their masters were far too busy from 2016 onwards diverting attention and whipping up hysterical Russophobia with their 24/7 McCarthyist Russiagate lunacy and generally priming the public with Putin-hatred for and before the inevitable Russian invasion.

Now though, by polar contrast to 2014-2021, Ukraine is at the very epicentre of media and public attention.

So Putin, Lavrov and any other Russian putative peace negotiators can/could/must (fully understandably) insist that Russia needs far more than signed agreements and empty promises and pledges like those play-for-time, shamefully sham Minsk Accords.

    Nyet. Not this time.

No. This time a concrete, fully time-lined, multi-step, multifaceted peace solution/roadmap needs to be not just agreed upon and signed:
Putin can and must fully justifiably, loudly and repeatedly insist on the world stage that if any agreed implementation deadlines, timelines and dates for each of those step-by-step peace-process measures and binding commitments are not met, implemented, monitored and enforced on schedule then each party - but especially Russia given the EU-US’s war-triggering Minsk deception - will have the fully justifiable right to withdraw from the peace process and end the cease-fire.

Fool us once, twice but not thrice.

And consider this too: if/when or from the moment that (inevitable) peace negotiations are announced, Wall St.
and markets worldwide will assuredly surge on the news.

Noone will want to see those potentially massive gains lost. Noone will want to see that suddenly bullish, optimistic, euphoric mood and sense of relief being jeopardized or lost due to the failure of peace-talks that have been so long coming.

Pressure from the financial/business/corporate world may well triumph even over the will of the US-NATO War Machine once peace negotiations have unleashed a long-awaited, much-needed, mood of relief, economic optimism and bullish buoyancy.

The general consensus not just throughout the financial world will surely be: don't cock this up again. No Minsk 1/2 EU/US trickery, treachery or fakery this time. We need to move on. Peace negotiations cannot be allowed to fail..again.

    It's about the economy, stupid.

And man cannot thrive or survive for long
on arms and weapons sales alone.
