The leadership in the West is, unchallenged at the moment. And the media, typified by the BBC/Guardian axis, is still delusional and unwavering in its support for Ukaine. The journalists he refers to must have been briefed, off the record, by sources close to the security servics, preparing the ground for tough decisions ahead. Direct war with Russia, or not? What's depressing is that the criticism and questions that are being asked now, in the mainstream, are coming from conservative writers, not from the liberal left. They, as usual, are far more concerned about appearing morally superior and politically correct, to allow anything as unpleasant as Reality to interfere with their dogmas.
