I wonder if the Left in Labour and outside, will learn anything from what's happening? It's unlikely, but if they ever come anywhere near a position of power inside the Labour Party again; will they have any idea of what to do with it, rather than repeat the mistakes of the Corbyn interlude? Are there any indications that the Left have reflected and changed their strategy?

I suppose, to be fair, Corbyn and those around him, were in an extremely disadvantagted position. They had massive support from the Labour grassroots, but oddly, in a democracy, this support never materialised into actual real power inside the Labour Party. Here, the party machine despised Corbyn and the Labour MPs were massively against him too. This unbalanced status quo was always going to be problem and constantly undermine Corbyn's position. Yet, remarkably, the Left, didn't appear to understand or appreciate just how fragil Corbyn's grip on power was. Compared to the Right of the party they seemed very naive and lacking in strategic competence.
